About Us
ProPrecision got its start in the old Pro Fab Tech shop in Glendora, CA in 2006. My
brothers and I were milling about the shop and talking about a new sandcar I was
planning to build. We were "what if-ing" and "wouldn't it be cool if" some different
concepts and ideas some performance and convenience parts for the car. And...after
several hours we answered our questions..."WHY NOT?"
Why couldn't a sandcar or UTV have a tilt steering system for comfort. Why not make
a rearview mirror that is adjustable just like the one in your car. Why not have
custom products that can be functional and still look great. Why not make these
products ourselves and sell them at a reasonable price. Well the answer is "YES" and
ProPrecision has them.
I have been into motorsports pretty much all my life. I began twisting wrenches on my
dad's old '65 Chevy pickup and the young age of 8. At the age of 16, I did a complete
frame up restoration on that same pickup. You name it and I have probably worked
on it. River race boats, motorcycles, sandcars, UTVs, Jeeps, offroad racers, and the
list goes on.
I have had a lot of great teachers in my life when it comes to motorsports. They
instilled in me the basic concepts of speed, performance, endurance, function and
lets not forget style. They taught about having the right amount of power. They taught
me how to trouble shoot, diagnose, engineer, and plan. They taught me to measure
twice and cut once. They taught me the real meaning of "fit and finish".
My wife Julie and I took over and incorporated ProPrecision in January of 2007. We
have expanded our product lines to provide a full "stock" to "wild" makeover of your
sandcar, UTV, or offroader. We take pride in our customer service and stand behind
our products 100%.
